Due to the nature of our services and time allotment, we require a $75 reservation deposit for all appointments. We require a 24 hour cancellation and your deposit will be applied to your service price. If for an emergency situation we will gladly reschedule your appointment and credit your account. MEMBERSHIP HOLDERS- for your convenience you may enroll in auto payments, however, you MUST abide by the same policies listed above, please be aware of your time and ours, please allot 24 hours advanced notice if you need to reschedule or you will lose the value of your installment payment. In exchange for participation in the activity of Hair service waiver organized by ZEN-DARA, of 2401 W Kennedy Blvd, TAMPA, Florida, 33606 and/or use of the property, facilities and services of ZEN-DARA, I agree for myself and (if applicable) for the members of my family, to the following:

1. I agree to observe and obey all posted rules and warnings, and further agree to follow any oral instructions or directions given by ZEN-DARA, or the employees, representatives or agents of ZEN-DARA.

2. I recognize that there are certain inherent risks associated with the above described activity and I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and (if applicable) my family members, and further release and discharge ZEN-DARA for injury, loss or damage arising out of my or my family’s use of or presence upon the facilities of ZEN-DARA, whether caused by the fault of myself, my family, ZEN-DARA or other third parties.

3. I agree to indemnify and defend ZEN-DARA against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments, costs or expenses, including attorney fees and other litigation costs, which may in any way arise from my or my family’s use of or presence upon the facilities of ZEN-DARA.

4. I agree to pay for all damages to the facilities of ZEN-DARA caused by my or my family’s negligent, reckless, or willful actions.

5. I, _________________ of _________________, _________________, Florida _________________, consent to the participation of my _________________, _________________, in the activity of Hair service waiver, and agree on behalf of the above minor to all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. By signing this Release of Liability, I represent that I have legal authority over and custody of _________________.

6. In the event of an injury to the above minor during the above described activities, I give my permission to ZEN-DARA or to the employees, representatives or agents of ZEN-DARA to arrange for all necessary medical treatment for which I shall be financially responsible. This temporary authority will begin on April 01, 2015 and will remain in effect until terminated in writing by the undersigned or when the above described activities are completed. ZEN-DARA shall have the following powers:

a. The power to seek appropriate medical treatment or attention on behalf of my child as may be required by the circumstances, including without limitation, that of a licensed medical physician and/or a hospital;

b. The power to authorize medical treatment or medical procedures in an emergency situation; and

c. The power to make appropriate decisions regarding clothing, bodily nourishment and shelter.

7. Any legal or equitable claim that may arise from participation in the above shall be resolved under Florida law.

8. I agree and acknowledge that I am under no pressure or duress to sign this Agreement and that I have been given a reasonable opportunity to review it before signing. I further agree and acknowledge that I am free to have my own legal counsel review this Agreement if I so desire. I further agree and acknowledge that ZEN-DARA has offered to refund any fees I have paid to use its facilities if I choose not to sign this Agreement.

9. This Agreement and each of its terms are the product of an arms’ length negotiation between the Parties. In the event any ambiguity is found to exist in the interpretation of this Agreement, or any of its provisions, the Parties, and each of them, explicitly reject the application of any legal or equitable rule of interpretation which would lead to a construction either “for” or “against” a particular party based upon their status as the drafter of a specific term, language, or provision giving rise to such ambiguity.

10. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this Agreement, whether standing alone or as applied to a particular occurrence or circumstance, shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement or of any other applications of such provision, as the case may be, and such invalid or unenforceable provision shall be deemed not to be a part of this Agreement.

11. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract, or the breach thereof, shall be settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.

Policy and Procedures
ZEN-DARA desires to create a safe and relaxing environment. Specific policies and procedures may be implemented that are non-negotiable; so that our clients can be assured that they are treated fairly and respectfully.

Appointments: ZEN-DARA is not a “walk-in” salon”. We operate off of booked appointments. That’s not to say you will never get a same day appointment, but we strongly encourage you to book online  or schedule your next appointments with stylist when you check out. For those who need weekend appointments and late appointments, we strongly encourage you to book a least a week in advance.

Late and NO Show Policy: Please do not schedule appointments you cannot keep. You must notify us a minimum of 24 hours in advance prior to your scheduled appointment time if you need to cancel your appointment.
Our Late Cancellation/No Show Policy is as follows: If you cancel in less than 24 hours or your appointment, the cancellation fee is 50% of your scheduled service up to $25 dollars. If you cancel in less than 2 hours of your appointment, the cancellation fee is 75% of your services. If you No Show the fee is 100% of your scheduled service. NO EXCEPTIONS

We do realize that circumstances arise beyond our control and can intrude on previously made plans. For that reason, it is ZEN-DARA’s policy to give each guest a “second chance” the first time an appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours notice. However, the second time a client cancels with less than 24 hours notice or is a “No Call No Show”; we must charge the Late Cancellation Fee for the missed appointment. The charge will be added in addition to your next service.

Running Late: Clients that are on time are priority. If you run more than 15 minutes late, please contact us, you may be asked to reschedule. There is a $20 fee added for the “better late than never” guests who do not abide by the on-time rules.

Payments: We request that payments for all services, products and procedures be paid at time/date of visit. ZEN-DARA accepts Cash, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, Venmo and Memberships via Clover . Personal checks are NOT accepted.

Client Information: It is important that client records are kept and updated with current and accurate information. Your information is used to communicate necessary information to you. We email or text receipts, appointment reminders, emergency situation, and occasional promotions. You can keep this information updated online. Your account is created when you book your appointment. Please let your stylist know if you have any adverse reactions to chemicals, cosmetics &/or allergies, medical conditions, etc. we should be aware of. This information is vital to your safety in our salon.

All clients will be informed of the condition, quality, any disorders and/or damage found in their hair or scalp (if any), in addition to any hair care regimens the stylist recommends. ZEN-DARA as a whole or in part, will not be responsible or liable if you choose not to adhere to these recommendations or acknowledge the analysis and condition of your hair and scalp. We will not be held responsible or liable when clients choose to use products or have hair services rendered outside of our salon. ZEN-DARA uses only the most professional products to promote healthy hair. In order for us to guarantee our work, we do not use or encourage clients to bring their own products for services, other than (prescription products).Use of MONAT hair care system is strictly PROHIBITED and we cannot due to insurance liability perform chemical services for you at this time. By signing this waiver you are by law agreeing that you currently are not using this brand of product. Any other products will only be used at the Management’s discretion.

******Emails and Text message are held with strict confidence. I only send out mass messages when there is specific need such as, appointment reminders, gift certificates, emergency, etc. Please give accurate information on your profile. ****

Children: We do accept children as clients provided they are well behaved. However, with our limited space and the use of chemicals, hot irons and sharp scissors, we do not want any accidents to happen especially to the little ones. Additionally, we are committed to providing a relaxing, stress-free atmosphere for all of our guests, and we do not offer child care services. If you must bring your children with you for your appointment, they must be well behaved and stay seated in the waiting area.

Friends and Family: We know that you love to have company sometimes at the hair salon; however with space being limited, we asked that you do not bring extra love ones that are not being serviced. With the limited seating we like to keep space for those having service rendered.

Return Policy: Any professional retail product that you purchase at ZEN-DARA is 100% guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, it may be returned for a salon credit or exchanged within 7 days of purchase. There are no cash refunds after purchases.

Correction Policy: We want our clients to be happy and satisfied with their services. If you are ever dissatisfied with any service in the salon we will gladly make the corrections necessary to exceed your expectations within 3 days of the original service. If you are unhappy with your service, please let us know so we can make it right! Our primary objective is to ensure each service and visit meets your satisfaction.

Deposits: Deposit for extensive appointments may be required. The deposit will be 50% of the total cost depending on total service total. Deposits are applied to total service. This is required for special events, parties, extension clients and bridal appointments.

Gratuity: Gratuity is not included in the price of services unless specified. If you are satisfied with your service, a 15% to 20% tip is customary.

All client information and service procedures are confidential and/or private.

Discount Programs, Promotional Certificates/Contests, Coupons, Savings Vouchers, Website Specials etc., cannot be used in conjunction with each other or for prior purchases or services rendered. A certificate, coupon, voucher etc., must be presented before the expiration date. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen certificates, coupons, etc. The restrictions do not include purchased gift certificates. Please check website for online specials.

All policies and procedures are established at the discretion of ZEN-DARA and subject to change without notice. Our salon reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

Terms & Conditions

Health Matters

When booking an appointment please inform us of any health conditions as some conditions may prevent certain treatments being carried out. At each visit you will be asked to sign your personalized consultation card so that we can be kept updated on any health issues. All personal details are kept in the strictest confidence.

Cancellations / Late arrivals

Clients who wish to change or cancel their appointments are kindly requested to provide a minimum of 24 hours notice as otherwise a 50% charge may be applied. If you are running late please phone us. Late arrivals will be charged additional $20 late fee/or the full price for their treatment but cannot unfortunately be guaranteed a full treatment time.

“NO CALL NO SHOW” if you have scheduled a service with one of our technicians and you do not provide 24 hour advance notice to cancel, and you do not show for your appointment time, you will be charged FULL PRICE for the scheduled service. We value our time and yours.

Monthly Memberships- We are 100% committed to your service experience, however if in the event you need to cancel please be aware there is a $200 (two hundred dollar) early termination fee. The savings are based on a prorated value for a 12 month period. Your account is managed by Clover Memberships for your safety and convenience.

Junior bookings

We are happy to take bookings for teenagers. However a parent or guardian will be required to sign our chemical release and liability waiver, and the skin care waiver if applicable.

Children Services

ZEN-DARA is not equipped to keep little ones safe, we ask that you consider child care for the duration of your appointment at this time.


Please ensure you retrieve all your valuables before leaving the premises as we cannot be held responsible for lost items.

We welcome feedback on our services as our aim is to make your time with us as enjoyable as possible. Please note that prices are subject to variation and the management reserve the right to change pricing without prior notice.

Our intent is for each customer to be 100% satisfied with our services. Returns and refunds are limited to the following situations:

1. Services received cannot be refunded. Adjustments of service can be applied within 3 business days of service, and not if any of the service has been altered in any way whatsoever.

2. Refunds will only be considered if presented within 3 days of purchase. Products can only be refunded if unused and in its original packaging. If product is opened or used it is possible that a restocking fee will be charged. Refunds can only be processed with receipt.

3. No refunds are given for gift card orders.
